I was born and raised in Quebec, completing most of my education in French — except for a transformative year of English immersion in Grade 5. Later, I continued my studies at Marianopolis College in the Liberal Arts program, fully in English, before deciding to apply to universities abroad. When I was accepted to Brown University, I put aside an offer to law school in Canada to expand my horizons and explore the world beyond what I knew.

At Brown, I majored in Middle East and South Asian Studies, deepening my global perspective and passion for inclusive education. I also had the privilege of spending a year as a Roger Williams Fellow at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, an experience that further shaped my belief in education as a bridge across cultures and opportunities.

My professional path led me to McGill’s Faculty of Law, North America’s only BCL/JD program, where I worked as an admissions coordinator. There, I saw firsthand how crucial mentorship, transparency, and equitable access are for students navigating competitive admissions.

As a Gen Z graduate who has witnessed the world rapidly change — especially since COVID-19 — I found myself questioning what kind of contribution I wanted to make. In a time when we are often encouraged to focus solely on ourselves, I felt strongly about going against that narrative. I wanted to demonstrate that we can support one another and create meaningful, positive change in the world.

I founded Huma Admissions & Academic Consulting as a for-profit service offering personalized admissions guidance. Over time, I saw how many talented and driven students hesitated to seek support because of financial, informational, or systemic barriers. This realization inspired me to adopt a social enterprise lens: to make high-quality admissions guidance more accessible and empower students from all backgrounds, especially those who have historically been left out of these spaces.

Today, while my services are tailored to students in the Quebec education system, I am equally dedicated to supporting students across Canada and beyond. Whether you are a first-generation student, navigating multiple cultural identities, or simply looking for thoughtful and ethical guidance, I am here to help you share your story and move forward with confidence and care.
